In parallel with our Quality and Accreditation processes, our policies were discussed at the Academic General Assembly Meeting on December 31, 2025 and updated as follows. Gaziantep University Faculty of Theology aims to raise well-equipped individuals at national and international levels by adopting a student-centered approach in education and training processes. Innovative methods that contribute to the academic and personal development of students are implemented with an educational approach that encourages access to information, critical thinking and learning by research. Educational processes are planned, carried out and continuously improved and developed with a quality-oriented perspective.
- Student-Centered Approach: To adopt an educational model that supports students' academic and personal development and develops their critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Lifelong Learning: To encourage the scientific, cultural and spiritual development of students by equipping them not only with professional knowledge but also with the ability to continuously learn.
- Compliance with International Standards:To continuously increase quality by aligning education and training processes with national and international academic standards.
- Community Service Oriented Education: To raise students as individuals who act with social sensitivity and have ethical values and to ensure their integration with society.
- Continuous Improvement and Quality Management: To evaluate education and training processes with stakeholder participation, to eliminate deficiencies and to create a system that aims for continuous development.
B) Research and Development Policy
- Ethical Rules: To strictly comply with scientific ethical principles (honesty, impartiality, objectivity, confidentiality, respect for intellectual property rights) in all research and development activities and to ensure transparency and accountability in research processes.
- International Collaborations and Participation: To strengthen international academic collaborations, encourage participation in global research networks and support participation in research projects abroad.
- Providing Inclusive Education and Research Opportunities: To support the participation of our faculty students in research processes by providing them with qualified research opportunities and to help them develop their scientific thinking skills.
- Encouraging Interdisciplinary Studies: To conduct interactive research and support interdisciplinary projects with different fields of theology as well as other disciplines such as social sciences and science.
- Organizing Continuing Education and Research Programs: To ensure that scientific developments are followed and innovative research methods are used by organizing continuous training and seminars for researchers.
- Carrying out innovative and pioneering work for the future: To carry out innovative and pioneering studies for the future in line with the changing conditions in the world and the needs of society in the field of theology.
- To work towards solving the problems faced by society.
- To shape community service policies with the participation of stakeholders.
- To encourage and support academic staff and students to participate in community service activities.
- To convey the results of scientific studies to society and to organize academic and social events open to the public.
- To use mass media effectively to increase the level of knowledge of society on religious issues.

- To increase the number of international participants in these events by organizing international symposiums, workshops, etc.
- To support the publication of the works of the Faculty academics in foreign languages by internationally recognized publishing houses and the publication of their articles in journals included in international indexes
- To make the Faculty a preferred unit for foreign students
- To make continuous improvements towards internationalization targets
